Getting Started

This Little Piggie began as a performance project over twenty years ago. I used the medium of theater to express, to understand and to heal from my experience as a survivor of sexual abuse. I learned that every time I shared my experiences - It became easier to tell my story. More importantly, it became a reason for others to share their stories as well.

Collectively, we were stronger.

What I didn't know back then was that my journey toward healing would last a lifetime. So in that spirit, I created this site to share artistic expressions of my journey and hope that it could continue to encourage others to do the same.

I share these representations of my experiences so that you will know that you are not alone, so that you will find your voice, so that you will be less angry and less afraid. This site is not about being drowned in trauma, it is about celebrating the fact that we are still here!

As the years go by, I continue to explore new media and some of that is captured on the "Projects" page.
